Pricing

Many HVAC contractors tend to price add-on replacement and service jobs based on “rules of thumb” or meeting a competitor’s price without careful consideration of what the price needs to be to be profitable. The Pricing class will take the guesswork out of the pricing process and allow you to price with purpose based on your P&L and budget. In this course you will learn the importance of creating a strategy in your pricing program and of break-even concepts, as well as the pros and cons of various methods such as divisor, mark-up, GP per crew day, and dual overhead. In addition, you will learn the proper method to establish labor rates for service and for maintenance agreements.
