In the April 2019 Snapshot Survey, we asked contractors all about TV and Radio Advertising. Here’s one survey question and its results from the summary report, which is now available in its entirety to EGIA members.
Question: Has your company EVER done any form of television advertising (Commercials, Sponsorship, Etc.)?
Television advertising can help you target specific audiences to expand reach, produce leads, and reinforce brand awareness. According to the contractors who took our survey, 58% reported participating in some form of TV advertising against 42% that have not. Additionally, over half (68%) of the companies that have advertised on TV report targeting the morning timeslot.Here’s what an HVAC contractor from Pennsylvania answered:
“We have always targeted our tv ads around local news, particularly when the weather forecast is up. We are always in the 5:30-7:00 a.m. and 5:00- 6:30 p.m. timeslots.”
